Iwa Moto shared evidence to defend Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.
IWA MOTO — The former actress took to social media to share evidence that will prove that Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, who is running for president in the 2022 elections, has done a lot.
To recall, Vice President Leni Robredo said in a “political fast talk” with talk show host Boy Abunda during the 2022 Presidential One-On-One Interviews that Lacson seemed to talk a lot but has inadequate action “on the ground”.
Based on a report on Bandera, the former actress posted clippings on her Instagram Stories showing Lacson’s accomplishments with the hashtag #groundworkwithrisks.

Iwa laid out clippings of Lacson’s achievements and also shared the post of Lacson’s former colleague Michael Ray Aquinon.
“Sen Lacson and I along with other officers and our men conducted hundreds of succesful field operations and fought against organized crime groups in the past. He was on the ground with us even when he was already a general. This is also called Leadership by Example,” the post reads.
The former actress also shared the takeaways from Lacson’s interview with Boy Abunda on her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, the presidential aspirant said that Boy Abunda’s “WHY NOT VOTE FOR…” question was “a test of his interviewee’s character”.
Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III came to the defense of Lacson and refuted the remark made by the Vice President against his running mate.
“I really take exception to that statement. Hindi kami kaaway nila. Unless they provoke us,” Sotto told Inquirer on Wednesday. “Pasensya na but I cannot take that sitting down!”
