Here’s the reaction of VP Leni Robredo on Beatrice Gomez’s top 5 finish in Miss Universe 2021
LENI ROBREDO – The presidential aspirant and incumbent vice president reacted to the Top 5 finish of the country’s bet in Miss Universe 2021, Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
It was just recently when Harnaaz Sandhu of India was crowned as the 70th titleholder of the prestigious pageant.
The beauty queen from India is the third candidate to win the Miss Universe title for India after the victory of Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000.
She was followed by Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira who landed the first runner-up and Lalela Mswane from South Africa who clinched the second runner-up spot.
Apparently, the country’s bet failed to reach the Top 3 after clinching only the Top 5.
This prompted Filipino netizens to express their thoughts on her defeat.
Despite she wasn’t able to covet the title, Robredo was all praised for her performance especially for bringing honor and pride to the country.
Recently, she went to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein she gave her reaction to the victory of Gomez.

Meanwhile, Vice President Leni Robredo is rooting for the highest government position in the coming elections.
She will run for the said post alongside her running mate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
They will go against the tandem of; former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
