SUNSHINE CRUZ — The actress recently took to social media as she shared a message for daughter Chesca on her 16th birthday.

Sunshine’s youngest daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday this Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Sharing photos and a video of themselves on her Instagram account a day before Chesca’s birthday, Sunshine greeted her daughter in advance because “I have [an] early call tomorrow.”

Let’s celebrate your 16th when mom gets back home from my lock-in taping,” Sunshine said as she’s currently in a lock-in taping for a project.

In her birthday message for her daughter, Sunshine described Chesca as a “smart, talented, and beautiful young lady”. She also believed that her daughter will make good choices in life.

The actress also told her daughter that she’s always there for her, will guide her, protect her, and support her in every possible way.

You are a smart, talented, and beautiful young lady. I’ve always believed you will make good choices in life,” Sunshine wrote. “I am here for you always! I will guide you, protect and support you in every possible way. I love you, Chesca.

Aside from her mother, Chesca also received a birthday greeting from her sister Sam on Instagram.

Sharing throwback photos and a video of themselves as kids, Sam greeted her “forever singing & dancing partner” on her 16th birthday.

Happiest sweet 16th to my forever singing & dancing partner,” Sam wrote.

Sam and Chesca were two of Sunshine’s children with action star Cesar Montano. The other was Angeline Cruz, who also joined showbiz as a recording artist in 2017.

Following the actress’ separation from the action star and the subsequent annulment of their marriage, the sisters were under Sunshine’s custody.
