Reports from OPAV (Office of the Presidential Assistance in the Visayas) said that PHP 1 billion of the assistance would go to the province’s local government units (LGUs) while the other PHP 1 billion would go to the national government agencies tasked with the rehabilitation works.

Inquirer reported that the National Housing Authority would provide PHP 5,000 to PHP 30,000 in shelter assistance to each typhoon victim, depending on the severity of the damage.

According to President Duterte, food and water would be provided as soon as possible upon the request of Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, who met the President last Sunday (December 19) afternoon.

Governor Yap was also hoping for a generator set that has a capacity of at least 15hp (horsepower) in order to improve the communication with the local government units.
