Cochinillo also referred to as lechón de leche, is a suckling roasted pig that is now a common dish prepared for special occasions and gatherings.

Recently, Marvin made a buzz online following his controversial cochinillo.

He earned backlash from netizens especially from people who tried his “cochi.”

This prompted him to issue an apology.

According to him, they were overwhelmed with massive orders which resulted in the breakdown of their kitchen equipment, glitches in their ordering system, and last-minute cancellations of couriers due to several unforeseen reasons.

Marvin said they are still trying to reach out customers who suffered inconvenience because of their disappointing cochi.

Meanwhile, showbiz veteran Ogie Diaz reacted to the controversial cochinillo of Marvin Agustin.

Ogie reached out to Kami to give his reaction to Marvin’s controversial dish.

The talent manager said that someone referred to him with regards to the former actor’s cochinillo.

“Naka-attend lang ako ng party ng isang friend na super disappointed sa cochinillo ni Marvin kasi ang mahal daw pero hindi nasarapan. Hype lang daw. When I tasted it myself true nga, Saka ‘yung special sauce mantika rin. So mantika na ‘yung pork, sa mantika mo pa rin isasawsaw,” he said.

But he clarified, “Siguro hindi lang kasundo ng panlasa ko as compared sa iba na nasarapan naman.”

On the other hand, Ogie lauded Marvin for being open to criticism and owning up to his mistakes.

He’s hoping that the latter will make some improvements on the said dish.
