Singer-actress Gigi de Lana turns emotional during Magandang Buhay guesting
GIGI DE LANA – The singer-actress couldn’t help but turn emotional while talking about her mother.
It was just recently when Gigi guested on ABS-CBN morning show, Magandang Buhay.
During her guesting, she became open about her personal life, particularly about her mother.
According to her, her mom named Imelda has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
In her guesting, she also shared her prayers for her mom.
According to her, her mother is happy with her career.

Gigi de Lana is a newbie actress who started her career as a singer.
She rose to fame when she became part of It’s Showtime singing competition, Tawag ng Tanghalan. Apparently, she did not clinch the grand finals after being eliminated during the semifinals.
After some time, she formed a band called Gigi Vibes Band composed of Jon Cruz, LA Arquero, Harvy Jake Manalo, and Romeo Pastre Marquez. Her group regularly holds jamming sessions, live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
During a session last June 19, a viewer requested her to sing a part of Roselle Nava’s “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita.”
Her rendition earned praises and massive support from netizens. Her online popularity was then followed by lots of projects and guestings.
This time, she will be having an acting debut via the upcoming series, “Hello Heart.”
The series centers on the story of Heart (Gigi) and Saul (Gerald).
Heart is an online seller while Saul is a businessman who has a grandmother with dementia. The two cross paths when Heart worked as a caregiver for Saul’s grandma.
