Find out who is the actress Enchong Dee almost courted
ENCHONG DEE – The Kapamilya actor revealed the actress he almost courted.
Enchong is considered one of the promising actors of the Kapamilya Network.
He rose to fame after starring in his first major TV drama, Katorse.
In 2011, he played the role of “Luis” in the Filipino remake of Maria la del Barrio.
He also starred in Ina, Kapatid, Anak, and Muling Buksan Ang Puso.
His first television appearance came in 2006 when he appeared in the defunct talk show, Homeboy.
His appearance on the show caught the attention of modeling agencies and advertisers which include his works in Close Up, Bench, KFC, and Timex.
Eventually, he ventured into acting.
Meanwhile, during his guesting on Magandang Buhay on Wednesday, he revealed that he almost courted actress Kim Chiu.
His admission surprised hosts Jolina Magdangal, Melai Cantiveros and Karla Estrada.
“Minsan niloloko ko nga siya, ‘Naalala mo Kim, ikaw talaga ‘yung dream girl ko dati?’ Kapag ayaw niya pag-usapan, sasabihin niya ‘Enchong , huwag na. It’s 15 years ago,’” he said.
It was in 2008 when Enchong Dee and Kim Chiu worked together via the 2008 ABS-CBN series “My Girl.” It also stars the latter’s on-screen partner and former boyfriend, Gerald Anderson.
Enchong did not push through in pursuing Kim. But they remained friends until now. In fact, they have worked together numerous times and have collaborated on dance productions in the variety show “ASAP Natin To.”
