Here’s the reaction of Angel Locsin on rumors involving Kris Aquino
ANGEL LOCSIN – The actress defended the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino against those accusing her of stealing Marcos jewels.
Earlier, former chief justice Maria Lourdes Sereno warned those who are accusing the actress of stealing the jewels of Imelda Marcos without any proof that they may face a criminal case.
This, after some netizens, revived the old rumors about the former presidential sister.
According to her, they will screenshots of everyone who makes such comments against Aquino, including their profile details, and send them to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG).
The former chief justice claimed that spreading such false information tarnishes not only the name of Kris Aquino but also BSP and PCGG.
“Nasosobrahan na po ang pagiging kriminal ng mga gawain niyo,” she said.
Back in 2016, the actress-host debunked the rumors through her Instagram page. At the time, she explained that she bought her necklace from Italian jewelry brand Bottega Veneta through her hard-earned money.
Prior to that, PCGG assured in 2015 that the jewelry collections of Marcoses were secured in a vault, that’s why it is impossible for the jewels to be stolen.
Meanwhile, actress Angel Locsin defended Kris Aquino against those who accuse the latter of stealing Marcos’s jewels.
On her Instagram Story, the Darna actress reposted an article published by Inquirer wherein Sereno warned those who are propagating the fake news.
“She can afford to buy her own jewelry with her hard-earned money. Thank you very much,” she said.
