Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte asked town mayors in Region 7 to vote straight Bongbong-Sara tandem.
SARA DUTERTE — The vice-presidential aspirant and incumbent Davao City mayor has asked town mayors in Region 7 to support her and her running mate, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr, in the 2022 elections.
Mayor Sara appealed to the mayors to not just support her but the whole “BBM-Sara” tandem, saying that she couldn’t see herself working well with other President.
Mayor Sara made the appeal during the Regional General Assembly of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines-Central Visayas at Parklane Hotel in Cebu City last Friday.
She and Bongbong graced the event and both spoke before the town mayors from Central Visayas.
According to her, it’s important for her as a vice-presidential candidate that her running mate has the experience in the executive work, adding that she wanted a President who can implement projects right away and she sought those qualities in her running-mate.

She also said that it wasn’t her trait to solicit support but has to take the courage to do so.
“I am not used to making requests for myself but since I am already standing here in front of you, so I will no longer let this opportunity pass. My request and our request is to vote straight Bongbong Sara tandem,” Mayor Sara said in Bisaya.
To recall, Mayor Sara said at the “caravan for peace, unity, and progress” held in Carmen and Tagum City in Davao del Norte last November 21 that the political experience of his running-mate will lead him to the Presidency in the 2022 elections.
