The video footage of a motorcycle rider who hits a road barricade after overtaking from a tail-gating position elicits comments online.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of a motorcycle rider who hits a road barricade after overtaking from a truck. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the vehicles are moving at a moderate speed when a truck made a turn. Two motorcycle riders followed the truck’s turn but one of the motorists tailed at the truck’s blindspot.
After a few moments, the motorcycle rider suddenly overtake from a tail-gating position and accidentally hits a road barricade. The motorist failed to notice the barricade because he was at the truck’s blindspot.
The incident sent the rider pummeling on the ground. However, it was still unclear if the rider suffered injuries or not.
