Karen Reyes gave a warning to her fellow mothers after her son was hospitalized
KAREN REYES – The ex-Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate warned her fellow moms after what happened to her son Lukas who was hospitalized recently.
In an Instagram post, Karen shared what happened to her child.
According to her, she noticed that her son has a mouth sore that reached his throat.
Mouth sores are lesions that can appear on any of the soft tissues of the mouth, including the lips, cheeks, gums, tongue, and floor and roof of the mouth.
At first, she thought it was just a simple mouth sore that can be cured through self-medication.
When she tried for an online checkup, her son was advised to take antibiotics but her child had difficulty in taking his meds.
Later on, she noticed that her son has difficulty in breathing. This prompted her to rush her son to the nearest hospital. However, they need to wait for 24 hours for the result of his swab test.
“Nov 7, nanghihina na siya. Iba na din ang itsura ng mukha niya, lumalamlam na ang mata niya. Dahil nga hindi makakain at makadede,” she said.
When the results came out, they rushed Lukas to the emergency room.
Hours after she posted about the condition of her son, she eventually gave an update with regards to her son’s situation.
Meanwhile, Karen gave a reminder to her fellow mothers and said that such situations should not be ignored.
Lukas is the son of Karen and her partner, Silent Sanctuary frontman Sarkie Sarangay. They have another child named Olivia.
