BUTTER – K-pop supergroup BTS performed their hit single while at the intersection in Los Angeles, California in the US.

The star-studded performance of the group was captured via cellphone video of Filipino-American news anchor, Cher Calvin.

But before that, she has already seen BTS waiting at the sidewalk.

It was followed by a front scene BTS performance of their hit single, “Butter,” where V even touched the hood of her car.

The group’s performance ended before the lights turn green.

BTS’s performance was for the Crosswalk Concert segment of The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Their candid show earned mixed reactions and comments from the netizens especially their fandom called, Army.

Meanwhile, BTS, or in short for Bangtan Sonyeondan is a South Korean boy band that was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment.

The group consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

The all-male band was originally launched as a hip-hop group. Eventually, their musical style has evolved to include a wide range of genres.

After debuting in 2013 with their single album 2 Cool 4 Skool, they released their first Korean-language studio album, Dark & Wild, and Japanese-language studio album, Wake Up, in 2014.

By 2017, BTS crossed into the global music market, leading the Korean Wave into the United States.

In 2020, BTS became the first all-South Korean act to reach number one on the Billboard Global 200 and US Billboard Hot 100 with their Grammy-nominated single “Dynamite”.
