The governor of Cagayan said that the senator was saddened by his decision but he don’t want to be the reason for the people close to him and his party, split up.

Go said he would prefer to sacrifice for the common good of the country.

Go also said as per the statement of Mamba that President Duterte may have a hard time because of the candidacy of his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

For now, Go said he only plans to continue what he started by helping those in need.

It can be recalled that it was only yesterday when Go announced that he was considering withdrawing from the presidency.

Meanwhile, Senator Go’s camp has yet to issue any statement with regards to the claims of Mamba.
