Samsung was set to host its Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event this October.
Samsung has officially announced that its “Galaxy Unpacked Part 2” launch event will take place on October 20, 2021.
Sharing a video teaser on YouTube, Samsung announced that the said event will take place at 10:00 am ET (10:00 pm Wednesday in the Philippines).
Aside from this, Samsung’s newsroom post announcing the said event hinted at some kind of personalization for Galaxy devices, saying that the public will “see how Samsung is opening up new experiences for self-expression through technology”.
To sum up, Apple “Unleashed” special event will take place on Monday (Tuesday morning in the Philippines), Google “Pixel Fall Launch” event on Tuesday (Wednesday morning in the Philippines), and Samsung “Galaxy Unpacked Part 2” event on Wednesday (Wednesday evening in the Philippines).
What to expect at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event?
It’s certainly implied that Samsung’s new devices were in store and the company was expected to launch the Galaxy S21 FE or a new set of tablets, perhaps the rumored Galaxy Tab S8 lineup.
Notably, 9to5Google reported that the Galaxy S21 FE was last reported as being delayed to January with the Galaxy Tab S8 supposed to come alongside the Galaxy S22.

The smartphone company teased that the said event will “open up new experiences for self-expression through technology”, which could certainly point to the colors of the Galaxy S21 FE or the stylus support of the Galaxy Tab S8.
Alternatively, the teaser image showed a couple of app icons, which could point to some software updates. Some details around Samsung’s Android 12 rollout could certainly be possible, especially given that the company had already rolled out two public betas of the software.
