Here’s the response of Ruffa Gutierrez to rumors linking her with Herbert Bautista
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – The actress/beauty queen reacted to rumors romantically linking her with actor-politician Herbert Bautista.
The two once worked together via Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s movie, “The House Arrest of Us.”
In an interview with showbiz reporter, Ogie Diaz, she was asked if she has plans to become a politician.
According to her, she doesn’t intend to enter the world of politics because she’s already happy with her life.
As their conversation goes by, Ogie brought up Herbert Bautista when she mentioned she wanted to become a “first lady” instead.
“Hindi ko nga alam eh. My God!” she said in response to rumors linking them.
According to her, she had no idea when or where the rumor started but she cited that Herbert was a good person.
In fact, she supports the candidacy of the actor in the 2022 elections as he runs for senator.
Ruffa Gutierrez recalled that when she was a kid, she dreamt of becoming a congresswoman. She said that she really want to file the divorce bill as well as create laws for women and children.
Currently, Ruffa is striving hard to finish her studies in college.
Meanwhile, her showbiz career started in the year 1980s under BMG Films. In the early 1990s, she became part of German Moreno’s That’s Entertainment variety show.
She then ventured into the world of pageantry. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and Second Runner-up to Miss World 1993.
Ruffa Gutierrez is the daughter of Eddie and talent manager Annabelle Rama.
In 2003, she married Yilmaz Bektas, Turkish businessman. They had two children, Lorin Gabriella and Venezia Loran. They announced their separation through a joint statement on May 8, 2007.
