As seen in the caption on her Instagram post, the actress said that she wanted to salute hard-working single mothers who have raised their children with strength and courage on their own.

As I make my way to ‘It’s Showtime’ for ‘Reina Ng Tahanan’ and reminisce the intimate celebrations we had for Lorin’s graduation, I can’t help but get teary eyed. Today I want to salute all the hard-working single mothers who have raised their children with courage and strength on their own. The road is never easy but we persevere. Keep the faith that God will reward our struggles with blessings we can’t even begin to imagine,” Ruffa said in her Instagram post.

Ruffa then once again congratulated Lorin, who finished her secondary studies at The British School, on her achievement.

Ruffa, 46, became a single mother to her daughters Lorin and Venice after her split with her former husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas in 2007.
