Beauty queen-turned-actress Ruffa Gutierrez recently took to social media as she announced that she had returned to school after 34 years.
In her Instagram post, Ruffa recently shared that she’s currently enrolled in the Philippine Women’s University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Communication Arts under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).
According to her, she had chosen to further her education after 34 years of working in the showbiz industry.
Ruffa also shared that she decided to return to school not only do she wanted to fulfill her long-held dream and to take control of the next chapter of her life, but also wanted to set a good example for her daughters Lorin and Venice.
“After 34 years of working in the entertainment industry, I have chosen to further my education. Not only do I want to fulfill a long-held dream and take control of the next chapter of my life, I want to set a good example for my children. I hope you can support me in my new journey,” she added.
Supporters and fellow celebrities expressed their support for Ruffa in the comment section of her Instagram post.
Recently, Ruffa was seen in the TV5 romcom “Stay-In Love”, topbilled by Kokoy de Santos and Maris Racal, and the digital movie series “The House Arrest of Us”, starring real-life couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
