Truth behind cryptic tweet of Maris Racal
MARIS RACAL – Fans of the Kapamilya star were left worried following her cryptic post on the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she said: “Kapoy…ubos na ubos.”
“Kapoy” is a Bisaya word that means “tired.”
It was on October 1 when she left a cryptic post on social media. Her post surprised many especially her fans and followers.
After all, Maris Racal seems to be having it all by her new single released, growing following on social media, and a new love life in the person of singer-songwriter Rico Blanco.
Following her cryptic post, her fanbase immediately reached out to her. Even Kathryn Bernardo sent words of comfort.
Apparently, none had any idea what she’s going through. Some hint that it has something to do with her newest single, Asa Naman. However, she kept mum about it.
And to end the number of speculations, the 24-year-old star revealed that it was only a joke and just a way to promote the new Sunsilk Triple Sachet!
Meanwhile, Maris Racal rose to fame in 2014 after joining Pinoy Big Brother: All In where she placed second.
She grew up in a musically inclined family and learned to sing and play instruments at a young age. She can play the guitar, piano, ukulele, and beatbox, some of which she learned on her own by watching various videos online.
After her PBB stint, Maris Racal signed a deal with Star Magic. In February 2016, she was introduced as one of the members of the all-girl dance group, Girltrends.
The following year, she was officially launched as one of the members of ASAP’s sing-and-dance group, BFF5.
