Krista Miller: “Ang daming realizations that time na sobrang tumulong sa akin kung ano ako ngayon.”
KRISTA MILLER – The actress shared some of her realizations after being imprisoned due to illegal drugs.
It was in September 2016 when Krista and two other models were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
She was imprisoned at Valenzuela City Jail for 1 year and eight months due to a violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. She was acquitted by the court in May 2018.
When asked about her realizations after being imprisoned, she said: “Ang daming realizations that time na sobrang tumulong sa akin kung ano ako ngayon. Na-jail po ng one year and eight months. Na-involve po ako sa ganung isyu and then… basta po ang daming realizations lahat.”
According to her, she regrets her involvement in illegal drugs. She stressed that everyone commits a mistake but the important thing is what you do to become a better version of yourself.
By the time she left the prison, she pursue studying at the same time working.
When Krista Miller was imprisoned, she was pregnant with her second child at the time while her eldest was only six months old.
According to her, it was painful to part ways with her kids.
“Dun po sa jail mismo, andun na po lahat, may mga Bible study. Lahat mapagtanto-tanto mo talaga ang mga bagay-bagay dun sa loob,” she shared.
For now, Krista has returned to showbiz.
She’s part of the advocacy movie of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Buy Bust Queen.
Krist Miller also signed a contract under Viva Entertainment and is gearing up for her upcoming projects
