Jiro Manio gives updates about him
JIRO MANIO – The former child actor is making noise again after guesting on the pilot episode of Star Image Digital Network’s YouTube vlog.
Many netizens are curious if he will return to showbiz.
In the said interview, Jiro recounted that after his disappearance from the entertainment industry, he took a short course at TESDA.
He also recalled some of the things he did when he entered the rehabilitation center and became part of the aftercare program there. The former actor had a campus caravan where he spread awareness about drugs and their effects on people.
When asked if he’s ready to return to showbiz, he said: “Hindi ko muna masasagot ‘yan kasi busy ako sa simpleng buhay ngayon… Marami ako natutulungan sa simpleng paraan. Saka plano ko pa rin makapag-aral.”

Jiro seems to be happy with his simple life away from the limelight.
He added that if given the opportunity, he would prefer to make commercials and endorse food and clothing lines.
The former actor might as well enter the world of vlogging when he recently went live on Facebook and asked to follow his YouTube channel.
Jiro Manio is an award-winning child actor who starred in many films such as “Pamana,” “Anak,” “Ang Tanging Ina” and many more.
He also won Best Actor at the Gawad Urian Awards and Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards for the movie “Magnifico.”
Last year, Jiro Manio has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in Marikina City.
