Harry Roque shared his birthday wish during the press briefing.
HARRY ROQUE — The Presidential spokesperson made public his birthday wish during the press briefing as he turned 55 today, October 21, 2021.
Now that the Palace spokesman turns 55, he wished for the Philippines to overcome the pandemic and return to normal by opening the economy and lowering the coronavirus cases.
“Dahil ito pong araw na ito ay aking kaarawan, hayaan nyo naman akong magkaroon ng birthday wish: ang lalo pang magbukas ang ating ekonomiya, bumaba ang mga kaso ng COVID nang sa ganun mas marami ang makapagbalik buhay,” Roque said.
Roque bared his birthday wish after he was greeted by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Benhur Abalos, who was also present at the Presidential press briefing.
The Palace spokesman was also greeted by Communications Undersecretary Rocky Ignacio, who had been designated to read questions sent out by the media.

The National Capital Region (NCR) has eased into Alert Level 3, as well as Laguna, Cavite, Siquijor, Davao City, Rizal, and Davao del Norte. This means that there will be no age limit to who can go outside their homes.
However, both Roque and Abalos clarified that children in NCR were not allowed to go to malls or parks as they could only go outside to access basic and essential needs and for individual outdoor exercises.
According to Abalos, Metro Manila mayors have agreed to allow interzonal and intrazonal travel for children as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.
Meanwhile, Roque said that he’s still hoping that Davao Mayor Sara Duterte will run for the presidency so that he can pursue his Senate dream in the 2022 elections.
