Franki rose to fame when she joined the Pinoy Big Brother: Otso, a reality show of ABS-CBN.

Unfortunately, she was evicted. After her PBB stint, she ventured into acting and became part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

When the pandemic struck, she went to her home country New Zealand, and then to Australia, before heading to Dubai.

Franki grew up in New Zealand. Her father is a New Zealander while her mom is a Filipina.

Currently, the Filipino-Kiwi model-turned-actress is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It was just recently when she announced that she’s joining Miss Universe UAE and fortunately, she made it to the Top 30 of the highly coveted pageant.

Out of all the 15,000 applicants, 300 passed the casting and now only 30 candidates entered the competition.

As for her making it to Top 30, Franki said it feels so “surreal.”

The candidates will compete for pre-pageant activities until the grand coronation night on November 7, 2021.

This is the first time that Miss Universe UAE will be launched. The winning candidate will represent the said country at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant to be held in Israel this coming December.

In case Franki Russell wins Miss Universe UAE 2021, she will go against the country’s bet, Beatrice Luigi Gomez from Cebu, and other beautiful candidates around the world.
