Who Is Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos’ Vice President?

BONGBONG MARCOS’ VICE PRESIDENT – Senator Imee Marcos spoke on the VP running mate of her brother in the upcoming Election 2022.

According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), there is a total of 97 presidential aspirants who filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for president during the period set by the poll body for the filing.

A small portion of the presidential aspirants is composed of popular names in the political arena. One of them is former Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

The only son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr., the bid of Marcos Jr. undeniably triggered the issues about the regime of his late father. Meanwhile, on the other side, there are also people who got strong support for the former Senator.

With regards to former Sen. Bongbong Marcos’ vice president or running mate in the upcoming Election 2022, he nor his camp has yet to announce a name as his final tandem.

There are calls for Marcos-Duterte tandem but presidential daughter Sara Duterte maintains that she wants to finish her last term as Davao City Mayor. They recently met in Cebu as they attended an event but there are no official announcements of running as a tandem in the next election.

Recently, Sen. Imee Marcos spoke about former Sen. Bongbong Marcos’ vice president or running mate in the Election 2022. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Senator admitted that they want Mayor Sara Duterte to be his vice president but she has yet to accept it.

Aside from the presidential daughter, Sen. Marcos said that they acknowledge the “solid North” support for her brother and they are eyeing someone from Visayas or Mindanao. She admitted that they are scared about the support for his brother’s presidential bid from Mindanao.

    Thr philippines was much better during his time…
    It took decades before filipinos can finally have one Duterte for a leader.
