Message of Vice Ganda to Government Officials over Corruption
VICE GANDA – The Kapamilya actor-comedian aired a message to the government officials asking justice for the people over corruption.
The corruption issues in the Philippine national government are breaking the hearts of many Filipinos. There are a lot of issues surrounding the different government agencies now and as well as specific entities and individuals. They spark different reactions from the people.
During the recent episode of the ABS-CBN noontime variety show It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda expressed his side on the corruption issues and even left a message of encouragement to the Filipino voters as the election gets nearer and nearer.
Vice raised a question on some government officials allegedly overpricing the contracts of the government. He asked how much was the overpricing and added that some allegedly already have a huge “cut” and they were still not content with it.
Vice Ganda proceeded further claiming that some government officials were not anymore hesitant to do ill acts. He gave a message for them to be concerned about the plight of the poor Filipinos.
“Marami sa ating mga opisyales, maawa naman ho kayo, hirap na hirap na ‘yung mga tao,” the Kapamilya comedian said.
Addressed to the government officials, Vice Ganda asked for justice for the Filipinos over the public funds that were allegedly stolen by corruption. He stressed that the government fund is a fund of the people from the taxes and corruption in the country is allegedly “severe”.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice also gave a message to the Filipino voters encouraging them to register for the upcoming election and exercise their right to vote in the Elections 2022. He pleaded to the voters not to allow to be a victim of stealing again in the next voting period.
“Bigyan niyo ng hustisya ang bawat isa. At ‘pag magparehistro, bumoto tayo,” the unkabogable star said.
