Santiago has been his barber for the last five years.

According to him, nothing has changed in his client’s hairstyle throughout the years contrary to the criticism of President Rodrigo Duterte.

It can be recalled that in his Talk to the People, the president criticized Lacson’s hair: “Lahat kayo pati si Ping [Lacson] iba ang hairdo.”

To which the senator replied: “I don’t know what he is talking about. I haven’t changed the way I comb my hair long before he had lost his mind.”

At the height of their exchange of words, among those who reacted is former actress Iwa Moto, the partner of the politician’s son Pampi.

Their argument started amid the investigation on Commission on Audit’s flagged “deficiencies” in handling pandemic funds.

The said hearing tackled the controversial procurement of allegedly overpriced pandemic-related supplies last year.

But Lacson brushed off Duterte’s remark against him, saying that the president is now in “panic mode” with an attempt to discourage the Senate from investigating the alleged flagged “deficiencies.”

Lacson is said to be running the highest position in the country alongside his vice-presidentiable, Senator Tito Sotto.

In an interview via ANC, he vowed that he will end corruption if he’s elected as the next president in the coming 2022 elections.

According to him, he will be “unforgiving” to those who are committing acts of corruption.

Lacson has been considered one of the top candidates in the presidential elections alongside incumbent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, Senator-boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

However, the three are yet to confirm if they are running for the said position or not.
