Actor Paolo Contis recently took to social media to clear Yen Santos of any involvement in a breakup with his former partner LJ Reyes.
In a statement posted on his Instagram account, Paolo addressed the issues and rumors surrounding their breakup point-by-point. Paolo denied rumors that he’s hurting LJ and the children, but he admitted that a third party was involved in their breakup.
The actor also cleared his “A Faraway Land” co-star Yen Santos of any involvement in their breakup.

According to him, Yen was “never the reason of our break up”.
“Masyado niyo siyang diniin sa issue na to. Pati pag promote namin ng movie nabahiran na ng kung anu ano,” Paolo said, referring to Yen.
Paolo also confirmed the rumors of him and the actress being spotted together in Baguio.

He shared that he went to Baguio when his former partner left for the United States and he invited Yen for a day to have a conversation. According to him, Yen went there as a friend.
Paolo, meanwhile, said that he understood and respected LJ’s decision to take their children to the United States. He also apologized to LJ, Aki, Summer, and his ex-wife Lian Paz and also told the bashers to direct all the hate towards him.
“I was very clear to LJ when I told her I want to see and take care of Summer kahit hindi kami okay,” he said. “Sana balang araw makapag usap kami ng maayos para sa bata. Madami pang kailangan pag usapan pero sa amin na lang ni LJ ‘yun at sana respetuhin niyo ‘yun.”
