LJ Reyes, Paolo Contis Ended 6-Year Relationship
LJ REYES – The actress confirmed her breakup with her six-year partner, actor-comedian Paolo Contis.
The separation of Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes saddened a lot of people. Undeniably, they were an image of an inspiring couple and a happy family together with their kids, Aki and Summer.
Summer is Paolo and LJ’s biological daughter while Aki is the actress’ son with her ex-boyfriend, actor Paulo Avelino. Meanwhile, Aki has a good relationship with Paolo.
LJ even said in her interview with Boy Abunda that Aki treated Paolo like his own father. The comedian’s relationship with the actress’ eldest impressed a lot of people.
However, the relationship between LJ and Paolo came to its end after 6 years. There were speculations that third party and money issues are factors in their breakup.
During the interview, LJ revealed that she is currently in the United States together with Aki and Summer. She felt the need to take herself and her children physically out of the situation. Paolo confirmed that he knows that they will be flying to the U.S.
According to LJ, she cut all communication lines with Paolo as she does not want to be “manipulated” again. The actress believes that the “discoveries” that reached her about the actor are facts.

LJ Reyes stressed that if not because of her deep faith in God, she might not make it. She affirmed that she tried to save their relationship thinking that the kids need a complete family.
According to the actress, when she and Paolo broke up, she swallowed her pride and asked the actor if he wants to take them back – to which he refused. Currently, she is with her family in New York.
