MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES 2021 – The final date and venue for the coronation night of the highly anticipated pageant have been unveiled.
It was on May 8 when the MUP organization launched its search for the next Filipina who will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2021 competition.
Four days after the final submission of the application on July 15, the Top 100 delegates were revealed. At the time, they competed at the headshot challenge and a video introduction challenge.
On August 8, 2021, the organization announced its Top 75 delegates while the Top 50 delegates were introduced on August 22.
On the first day of September, the Top 30 delegates were announced but two candidates withdrew from the competition. First, Joanna Marie Rabe of Zambales bowed out due to dengue fever followed by Ybonne Ortega of Davao City who tested positive for COVID-19.
Apparently, only 28 ladies across the country will compete in the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
The coronation night was originally set on September 25 but was postponed due to the sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.
Based on the announcement released on Friday, the highly-anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2021 finals will be held on September 30 at Henann Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol.

This year’s winner will replace the outgoing titleholder, Rabiya Mateo- who competed in the Miss Universe 2020 but only clinched the Top 21.
