In Lolit’s online show on July 27, 2021, she revealed that Mark approached her to borrow money amounting to P30,000 to buy milk for his child.

Mark has a seven-month-old baby with fiancée Nicole Donesa.

But according to the talent manager and showbiz columnist, she scolded Mark for apparently not taking care of his finances.

Lolit said it was “embarrassing” that he still had to borrow P30K for his child’s milk. She even insisted that Mark did not take his career seriously that’s why he ended up borrowing money.

On August 18, Lolit took to Instagram saying that she felt guilty for humiliating Mark. The talent manager also received criticism from netizens for what she did to the actor.

Two days later, she posted again on Instagram to announce that she was no longer Mark’s co-manager.

Mark did not react to the issue but on September 12, he took to the video-sharing platform, to break his silence.

In a vlog, Mark and his friend Eric Fructuoso played “Sagot o Lagot,” where they would choose whether to answer each question or drink vinegar.

One of the questions raised to Mark: “Magkano ang pera mo na nasa bangko mo?” Mark laughed and drank the vinegar to avoid the controversial question.

He said: “Mga P30K siguro. Inom na lang ako para walang issue.”

According to him, it was private. But Mark left a statement which is clearly his reaction to his issue with Lolit.

“Ako siyempre, this is a private thing. Pero ako, yung anak ko, alam ko may pera sa bangko,” he said.

Mark didn’t go into details and drank the shot of vinegar.

Mark further disclosed that he received questionable offers at the height of his issue with Lolit.

Mark also answered when asked if he would accept the offer to transfer to the other TV network when not taken care of on his home network.

Recently, Mark renewed his contract with GMA Artist Center and he is now preparing for the lock-in taping of his upcoming teleserye.
