Smart Communications was paying it forward by launching a new app exclusive for its subscribers. The GigaPlay app was a mobile app where subscribers can watch exclusive live music and sports events.

Through GigaPlay, Smart subscribers may watch their favorite sports live and on-demand, stream free exclusive live concerts, and see their favorite K-idol shows without a subscription fee as well.

Smart’s new app offered access to the forthcoming NBA season through NBA TV live, the ongoing 46th season of the PBA Philippine Cup, and the next seasons of the PVL and UAAP.

Gizguide reported that the said app will feature a Philippine-exclusive stream of the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival 2021 as well as the upcoming “KCON: TACT HI 5” virtual concert happening on Sept. 18 to 26.

The GigaPlay app was available for download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Based on the report, the said app was available to all Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, TNT, and Smart Bro subscribers, who only have to connect to their mobile data, select the video they wanted on the GigaPlay app, and watch anytime and anywhere in the country.
