MARIEL RODRIGUEZ – The wife of Robin Padilla posted a witty greeting on the 52nd birthday of Amy Perez.

On Sunday, September 5, Tyang Amy celebrated her 52nd birthday.

Among those who greeted her on her special day is no less than her friend Mariel Rodriguez.

She praised the It’s Showtime host for being a good wife, good mother, and good person.

“Kung sila. I-Tutulfo nila, ako i-Tyang Amy ko! Hahaha,” she quipped.

Marie Rodriguez is referring to the public service program of Raffy Tulfo and the online “sumbungan at harapan” show of Amy Perez called Amy-nin.

In the last part of her greeting, she noted: “Swipe to see Tyang Amy making out with Robin.”

Apparently, Mariel posted intimate snaps of her husband and Tyang Amy. It was taken from their film “Anak ni Baby Ama” in 1990.

Amy Perez replied: “Hahahaha nakakatawa ka Mariel. I super miss ans love you always and forever.”

Many netizens also commented on Mariel’s hilarious birthday greeting and Ruffa Gutierrez is one of them.

Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Amy Perez once worked together in the noontime program, It’s Showtime.

Mariel started her career at the age of 15 as a commercial model.

In 2005, she moved to ABS-CBN, where she joined as a co-host of the competition series Pinoy Big Brother until 2010. Later, she became well known for co-hosting the noon-time programs Wowowee- where she met her husband, action star Robin Padilla.

On the other hand, Amy Perez is best known for hosting the now-defunct Philippine noontime show Magandang Tanghali Bayan on ABS-CBN and the reality tabloid talk show, Face to Face on TV5.

In 2013, she co-hosted The Singing Bee with Roderick Paulate.

Since 2016, she is one of the main hosts of It’s Showtime, which marked her comeback as a noontime show host.
