Learning among children had been greatly affected by the pandemic and all schools in the Philippines have shifted to online classes in order to avoid getting the virus.

In an episode of Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” last September 6, Pauleen mentioned that her and Vic Sotto’s daughter, Tali, had started attending online classes.

According to her, she could tell that her daughter had been wondering why she couldn’t personally see her classmates, unlike when she’s enrolled in a face-to-face class before the pandemic hit.

The lack of social interaction in classes got Pauleen a little worried for Tali.

Ang fear ko, kasi dahil mag-isa lang siya ngayon na lumalaki, na she will grow up na akala niya ang lahat ay in favor sa kanya. Alam mo ‘yon, kasi lahat kami nag-a-adjust for her. Parang di pa niya nae-experience na siya yung mag-a-adjust,” Pauleen said.

In order to make up for the absence of social interaction in her daughter’s online classes, Pauleen said that she and her husband tried everything so that Tali can still experience it while they’re still in a pandemic.

Pauleen also said that the students weren’t the only ones who have adjusted to the new normal learning setup. Despite the struggles, the celebrity mom was thankful to have more time to be with her daughter during the pandemic.
