Lolit Solis reacted on the breakup of showbiz couple LJ Reyes and Paolo Contis.
It was on Wednesday, September 1 when LJ confirmed in an interview with Boy Abunda that she and Paolo split.
LJ clarified that she is breaking her silence because her children are involved in what is happening.
Although there is no confirmation whether there’s a third party or financial issue behind their breakup, many were saddened about it.
Among those who reacted to their pressing separation is veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager, Lolit Solis.
According to her, “iyon broken relationship hindi lang babae ang hurting.”
She felt sorry for Paolo and LJ who have been in a relationship for a long time. The couple even had a child.
In the last part of her post, she’s hoping that the two will find happiness in their journey.

Unfortunately, many netizens disagreed with Lolit’s statement for allegedly saying that their decision to separate was “mutual.”
A netizen claimed as per the article of Bandera that Lolit is defending Paolo for the fear that people might boycott him and end up without income.
Paolo Contis is still silent about his separation from LJ.
There were even reports surfacing that actress Yen Santos, who’s the love team of Paolo in the movie “A Faraway Land” is the alleged third party.
However, neither Paolo nor Yen has yet to confirm it.
At present, LJ is in New York alongside their kids Aki and Summer.
They are currently in the United States as the actress felt the need to take her family physically away from what’s happening.
