It was confirmed by his handler Caress Caballero of Cornerstone Entertainment.

According to Selome Hailu of Variety online, Iñigo will portray the role of Ace Grayson, Nicky’s adopted son who also dreams of becoming a country star but faces some challenges along the way.

It was in mid-July 2021 when the singer-actor sent an audition video to the producer of the said show.

In August, he was accompanied by his handler alongside Cornerstone Vice President Jeff Vadillo for a face-to-face meeting with the producers that took place in Atlanta, USA.

During the production of the musical drama, the son of Piolo Pascual will be staying with his mom Donabelle Lazaro.

The country musical drama TV series will premiere in January 2022.

Meanwhile, his manager Erickson Raymundo couldn’t contain his happiness for the newest achievement of the singer-actor.

His first lead role as an actor was via the 2014 teen romance film Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig, which was directed by Antoinette Jadaone and Irene Villamor.

In 2015, he starred in another teen romance film, Para sa Hopeless Romantic alongside James Reid, Nadine Lustre, and Julia Barretto.

After appearing in several episodes of anthology shows such as Maalaala Mo Kaya and Wansapanataym, Iñigo Pascual landed a role in the afternoon drama series, And I Love You So.

In 2016, Pascual released his self-titled debut album under Star Music, which included the hit single Dahil Sa’Yo. The song became the first number 1 track of the short-lived Billboard Philippines Top 20 chart.

In 2017, he was tapped by Disney Philippines to record the Philippine version of “Remember Me,” the theme song from Disney-Pixar’s animated movie, Coco.
