Based on the announcement of the local government via Facebook live stream, a native of Barangay Sta. Catalina won the prize.

The LGU organized the raffle to encourage residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

This is not the first time that a local government unit had such a raffle among vaccinated residents.

Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar previously announced that a resident of the said city could win a house and lot.

Because of the “Bahay sa Bakuna” incentive program, the number of people receiving doses of the COVID-19 vaccine increased.

As of July 15, 100,535 people had received two doses of the vaccine from 32,971 on June 14.

Las Piñas is the second of 17 local governments in Metro Manila when it comes to vaccine utilization rate. It recorded a 95.74% utilization rate, next to Pasay City.
