As of July 15, 100,535 people had received two doses of the vaccine from 32,971 on June 14.

This might be due to the “Bahay sa Bakuna” incentive program launched by Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar.

As many as 313,045 people have received the vaccine in the city of which 212,510 are the first dose.

“I am so happy and overwhelmed by the response of my kababayans on this program as we ensure to get as many people as possible to get vaccinated,” she said.

It is said that the number of people registering to be vaccinated has also increased.

“We are promoting this program not just as a way to incentivize people but also to prevent a surge in cases brought about by low vaccine turnout,” the lady solon stressed.

A vaccinated Las Piñas resident can win a house and lot worth P1.5 million from Villar’s program.

There will also be consolation prize winners along with two new motorcycles.

According to TNT Abante, the local government also provides grocery items every month for vaccinated residents

Las Piñas is the second of 17 local governments in Metro Manila when it comes to vaccine utilization rate. It recorded a 95.74% utilization rate, next to Pasay City.
