Ogie Alcasid Admits He Got Jealous of Robin Padilla and Piolo Pascual

When Ogie Alcasid was asked who’s the actor he got jealous of, he said: “Yeah, I did. Actually, twice. Kay Robin at saka kay Piolo.”

OGIE ALCASID – The singer-songwriter admitted in a vlog that he once got jealous of Robin Padilla and Piolo Pascual, the former leading men of his wife Regine Velasquez.

In fact, he even cried at the time because of his intense jealousy with the action star.

In the “Honest Talk with Mr. and Mrs. A” YouTube vlog of Ogie, the couple answered some of the questions raised by netizens.

Among the questions was about the leading man of Regine that he got jealous of.

Ogie admitted: “Yeah, I did. Actually, twice. Kay Robin at saka kay Piolo.”

At first, Regine couldn’t believe that he actually got jealous of Piolo.

At the time, they haven’t publicized their relationship that’s why he’s insecure with the actor.

Regine and Robin first teamed up in the movie, Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw in 2000 and Till I Met You in 2006.

On the other hand, Regine and Piolo worked together in the film Paano Kita Iibigin? in 2007.

In 2006, Regine and Ogie secretly became in a relationship that’s why he got jealous when Regine had a reunion movie with Robin.

In an episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda in November 2018, Regine shared that Ogie once cried while the latter was calling her, admitting he’s jealous of Robin.

According to him, it’s normal to get jealous. But right now, he is secure with Regine whom he married in 2010.

Ogie Alcasid whose real name is Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid Jr. is a Filipino singer-songwriter, television presenter, comedian, parodist, and actor.

On the other hand, his wife Regine whose real name is Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez came to prominence after winning the 1984 Ang Bagong Kampeon and the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest.

She is referred to as “Asia’s Songbird” and is regarded for her vocal range and belting technique, and has consistently been credited with inspiring a generation of Filipino singers.
