Lacson is said to be running the highest position in the country alongside his vice-presidentiable, Senator Tito Sotto.

In an interview via ANC, he vowed that he will end corruption if he’s elected as the next president in the coming 2022 elections.

According to him, he will be “unforgiving” to those who are committing acts of corruption.

He added that the out-of-place restrictions on investors make it tempting for government officials to ask for “pampadulas.”

“Pampadulas” is a term used for money in legal or illegal transactions between the private and public sectors.

He explained that the government should impose the existing laws particularly on business but when someone violates them, he/she must be penalized.

“Leave the business sector alone but enforce the laws,” the senator said.

Lacson added that he will not take revenge on those who have ruined his character because the government will not be able to move forward smoothly.

He also assured that he will continue the campaign of the present administration on illegal drugs. However, there will be smooth changes.

Lacson has been considered one of the top candidates in the presidential elections alongside incumbent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and Senator-boxing champ Manny Pacquiao.

However, the two are yet to confirm if they are running for the said position or not.

On the other hand, President Duterte is said to be running for vice president in the upcoming polls.

The filing of candidacy for the 2022 elections will be this coming October.
