Katarina Rodriguez is going to have a baby
KATARINA RODRIGUEZ – The former Miss World Philippines titleholder is pregnant on her first child.
She revealed her pregnancy which kept as a secret for the past several months through her latest vlog.
She has been in a relationship with businessman Niño Barbers and they are already living together for almost two years in Siargao.
In her vlog, the actress-beauty queen shared some glimpses of her pregnancy journey featuring her pregnancy test up to her baby bump.
Katarina Rodriguez also showed her sonogram.
Meanwhile, Katarina rose to fame after placing third in the second season of Asia’s Next Top Model in 2014.
After her Asia’s Next Top Model stint, she caught the attention of well-known beauty queen trainer, Jonas Gaffud of Aces and Queens, who encouraged her to try out the pageantry.
She later joined the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant and won the title of Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017.
Eventually, she represented the Philippines at the Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant held in Hurghada, Egypt on January 24, 2018, where she finished as 1st runner-up to Veronica Salas Vallejo from Mexico.
She also won the Miss Media Popularity award and 1st runner-up in Best in National Costume at the time.
In 2018, she was crowned as the Miss World Philippines.
She represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China on December 8, 2018, but failed to clinch in the semifinals.
Aside from pageantry, she also tried acting.
She once starred in the defunct ABS-CBN primetime series, Make It with You, starring Liza Sobera and Enrique Gil or commonly known as LizQuen.
Unfortunately, the romantic-drama series was canceled amid the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
