Cassy Legaspi: “Why do you have to exit na with no explanation? Ang sakit nun.”
Cassy Legaspi is wondering why some people ghost their partner and not just tell the truth and then turn away from the relationship.
The Kapuso star made the statement during a recent virtual press conference.
She said: “Sa mga boys who ghost sa mga girls, or vice versa—anyone who ghosts—bakit? Sabihin niyo lang na ‘I’m sorry, I’m not interested.'”
“Ganun-ganon ka lang, ‘tas exit! Why do you have to exit na with no explanation? Ang sakit nun,” she added.
Cassy was asked about this because Ghost Month is coming soon, which will run from August 8 to September 6.
Many believe the Ghost Month period is unlucky.
But one type of “ghost” that Cassy is worried about is ghosting.
According to PEP.ph, ghosting is the sudden disappearance of a partner, not responding to text or private messages, and even phone calls.
Cassy Legaspi hasn’t experienced this yet and she might not be able to handle it when a man ghosts her.
“I’ve never experienced it. Buti na lang kasi, oh my gosh—I would not know how to handle ghosting. Why? Yun lang tanong ko sa mga ghosters diyan: ‘Bakit?’ Don’t do that na,” she said.
Cassy is currently being linked with Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto.
However, in an interview via Tonight With Boy Abunda in 2019, Darren denied rumors that he’s dating the daughter of Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel.
