BILLY CRAWFORD – The former Kapamilya star-turned-Kapatid host reacted to a basher who told him that tattoos “are for drug addicts.”

On Tuesday, August 10, he went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he posted a photo of himself along with his child Amari.

Many of his followers were amused by the photo wherein they can be seen having precious time.

But one netizen gave a negative remark to Billy.

The netizen commented: “Billy we all live you but your tattoos, are for Drug Addicts.”

Billy responded to the basher.

According to the TV host-singer, if the netizen’s logic is true, it means that his father and brother who also have tattoos are drug addicts.

He added that do not judge a person by his outward appearance.

In the last century, the concept of having a tattoo has become negative. It was often associated with criminals.

Last year, Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga or popularly known as Lea Salonga slammed a self-learning module that allegedly discriminates the people with tattoos.

The questionnaire says:

“Ang tattoo ay simbolo ng __.”

A. pagiging criminal
B. pagkaalipin
C. kagitingan at kagandahan
D. pagiging mababa ng katayuan sa lipunan

The module contains a key answer to each and every question, which should be check after the students have finished answering their activities. According to the module, the correct answer is “A. pagiging criminal.”

Tattoos have long been part of our culture as they serve as decoration, symbolism, or depiction of a person or thing.

Billy Crawford is one of the many Filipino celebrities who have ink in the various part of their bodies.
