Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza revealed that she didn’t expect that her relationship with her boyfriend Jak Roberto would last 4 years.
On Tuesday, Barbie said in an online interview with the press for “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko” that her boyfriend exceeded her expectations.
Barbie told GMA News Online that she didn’t expect that she and Jak will last long because she didn’t think that there will be a man who would be patient with her and her parents.
According to her, Jak was the type of man who was really unexpected and everything about him — the way he treated her, even her family, it’s so far from his image as an actor.

Barbie also shared that her first impression of Jak was that he’s arrogant, but then she realized that it wasn’t true.
She added that there was never a dull moment with her boyfriend and that her love life was “with flying colors” whether there’s a coronavirus pandemic or not and whether they’re together or not.
Last month, a rumor spread that Jak and Barbie allegedly broke up because he forgot their “monthsary”. To which, Barbie said she realized that it was part of having a relationship that was open to the public.
According to her, they chose to be open about their relationship because they wanted to share to others the partner who made them happy.
She added that they wanted their relationship to be an inspiration for others to treat their relationships the way they did — without pressure, stress, and full of trust and happiness.
