Celebrity couple Mikee Morada and Alex Gonzaga were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 after receiving second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
In her most recent Instagram update, Alex shared that she and Mikee received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Taguig last week.
The actress also shared a photo of herself and Mikee proudly showing off their vaccinated arms at the vaccination site. Also, Alex posted a video showing herself playfully teasing her husband while he’s getting vaccinated for a second time.
However, she did not say in her post when she and Mikee got their first jab of the COVID-19. Instead, she shared in her vlog last May that her parents received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Aside from her, her parents Pinty and Bonoy as well as her sister Toni Gonzaga have also been inoculated against COVID-19.
Since the start of the vaccination drive last March, more than 24 million doses — of which more than 11 million were second doses — had been administered as of August 9, 2021.
Last Tuesday, the Philippines had recorded 8,560 additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the overall tally to 1,676,156—with total deaths at 29,220.
The surge in coronavirus infections due to Delta COVID-19 variant had prompted the national government to place Metro Manila under ECQ anew, starting August 6 until August 20. Other areas that were put under ECQ include Laguna, Iloilo City, Cagayan De Oro, and Bataan.
