After battling COVID-19, Richard Gomez has recovered
RICHARD GOMEZ – The actor-turned-politician has recovered after his battle with coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
The good news was shared by entertainment columnist Lolit Solis via the image-sharing site, Instagram.
“Mabuti naman at magaling na si Mayor Richard Gomez ng Ormoc, Salve. Talagang tutok kasi sa trabaho si Mayor Goma kaya siguro tinamaan din ng sakit,” she wrote.
“Welcome back to your beloved work as Mayor of Ormoc, Richard Gomez. Sobra talaga ang passion mo as a leader kaya nagagawa mo ng maganda ang iyong trabaho. Congrats. Bongga. Fighting,” she added.
It was on July 17 when he revealed that he’s positive for the dreaded virus.
According to him, the symptoms were mild and manageable.
“I will need a lot of rest and will have to be in isolation until I’m better…I will go back to work as soon as doctors will give the clearance. I ask everyone to continue to be vigilant and safe,” he said at the time.
