From pump attendant to college graduate
From being a pump attendant at a gasoline station, Eric Rosales, 28, was able to graduate from college.
Eric was overjoyed when he was included in the Class of 2021 of Tagoloan Community College in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology on June 17, 2021.
Currently, Eric lives in Tagoloan with his father, mother, and sibling alongside his live-in partner Genelyn and one-year-old daughter.
Eric is the youngest of three siblings. His two older sisters are his maternal siblings.
His father is a farmer while his mom is a plain housewife.
When Eric graduated from Kalabugao National High School in 2010, he immediately started working as an all-around assistant at a supermarket in Bukidnon. He remained there until 2015.
By 2016, he started working as a pump attendant at Petron in Villanueva town, which is adjacent to Tagoloan town.
In 2017, Eric decided to enroll in Tagoloan Community College.
To support himself, he did not quit his job as a pump attendant.
Eric admitted that working and studying was not easy.
When he reached his third year as a college student, Eric got his girlfriend Genelyn pregnant.
Today, Eric continues to work as a pump attendant. He is now saving up so he can review and take a licensure exam.
