OROCAN – The locally known plastic manufacturer chides on other brands giving rewards and incentives to Hidilyn Diaz.
The first-ever Filipina to win a gold medal in the Olympics will receive whopping cash rewards and jaw-dropping incentives upon her return to the country.
Diaz made history as the first-ever Filipino to bag a gold medal in the Olympics in the recently concluded women’s 55-kg weightlifting event.
The country’s pride finished with a total score of 224 kg defeating China’s Liao Qiuyun.
The 30-year-old weightlifter from Zamboanga ended the near century-long Olympic gold medal drought of the country since it competed in 1924.
But on top of the rewards and incentives, she will be receiving such as free flights, fuel foods and etc., Orocan has a message to other brands.
On Facebook, it said: “WAG NA TAYONG MAGPLASTIKAN.”
It added: “Last year, na-seen zone si Hidilyn sa ‘ting mga brands. Ngayon, cheer zone tayo sa kanya. Orocan yarrrn?”
