P40k worth of jewelry found by garbage collector in the trash
A garbage collector was all praise when he returned P40,000 worth of jewelry that the owner accidentally threw away.
The garbage collector was identified as Pedro Bautista.
According to the garbage collector, he was sorting their collected garbage when the jewelry placed in a box surprised him.
He immediately brought the box to the barangay hall, which fortunately had the owner’s name so it was returned.
The owner is very grateful to Bautista as per the article via TNT Abante. The owner said she accidentally included the box in the garbage when the garbage collectors passed by.
Bautista, on the other hand, was determined to be a good Samaritan and refused the reward given to him by the owner.
