Here’s an update about the health condition of Bea Rose Santiago
Miss International 2013 titleholder Bea Rose Santiago gave an update about her health condition.
It can be recalled that in 2018, Bea Rose admitted that she is battling chronic kidney disease which is the reason why she’s undergoing dialysis.
During Binibining Pilipinas 2021 coronation night, Bea Rose made a digital guesting wherein she gave an update about her condition.
According to the beauty queen who is currently in Canada, she’s undergoing dialysis five times a week.
“It’s either you get better or you get bitter. It’s really that simple,” she said. “You gave to take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, a better version of yourself or it will consume you.”
Despite her condition, Bea Rose wants to be an inspiration to many.
“I don’t want my pain to make me a victim. I want my story, my battle to make me someone else’s inspiration,” she said.
For Bea Rose Santiago, there is only one thing she sees as the secret of true inspiration.
“You have to think positively and you are braver than you believe and stronger than you think. I think that’s the kind of mindset that I choose to live by,” she said.
Bea Rose Santiago is the fourth Pinay beauty queen to win the Miss International title for the Philippines.
