Windows 11 OS may arrive as a free upgrade for older Windows users.
Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system may arrive as a free OS upgrade for older Windows users.
Microsoft was set to host its new #MicrosoftEvent on June 24 and the company’s biggest surprise had slipped ahead of the said event.
The company was gearing up to reveal its new Windows version as the new big update for its operating system, but a leaked build had crossed the whole internet over the past few hours revealing most of the goodies coming with an early build of Windows 11 operating system.
Microsoft, may not have many surprises for the said event, rather than revealing more details about its strategy with Windows 11. Gizchina reported that one of the key strategies will be offering a “free upgrade” to some older Windows users.

Microsoft was yet to disclose details, but the report bases itself on some product configuration keys that were leaked in the Windows 11 OS build.
XDA Developers have spotted some product configuration keys in the build with the titles of Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. The said report further stated that there’s a file for Windows 8, but the said version wasn’t supported.
It’s likely that Windows 8.1 users might need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 first so that they will be able to upgrade to Windows 11.
