A heartbreaking photo of Gaisano Grand Mall employees in Antique wherein they can be seen outside the building which was hit by fire earned mixed reactions from netizens.
Recently, in the province of Antique, residents were left saddened when a massive fire caught one of their shopping malls. The said incident even reached the general alarm.
The Gaisano mall in Antique located in Barangay 8, Bagumbayan Bridge in San Jose was caught by massive fire. Firemen from the neighboring provinces like Iloilo and Aklan helped in responding to the incident that reached the general alarm.
According to the investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire that hit the Gaisano mall in Antique started in the second level of the shopping mall. It abruptly spread on the ground floor of the building where the grocery and the restaurants can be found.
It took two (2) hours before the fire was put out. There are no reported casualties or injuries caused by the said fire incident.
San Jose BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire incident and the amount of damages caused by it. A lot of people are worried about the employees of the mall who might lose their jobs amid the crisis.
Meanwhile, a photo posted on the Facebook page, Discover Antique, Philippines, featuring employees of the fire-ravaged mall has gone viral garnering reactions from netizens.
